Laundry Services
Doing the client's laundry is part of a home support worker's duties.
Laundry services generally include items pertaining to client care and do not include other family member's personal laundry.
(Except in the case of respite services.)
Items such as clothing changed during personal care and/or towels used during bathing are typically washed, dried, folded, and put away by the care provider.
Some insurance companies also cover extra laundry services.
